Check out football predictions: Arsenal vs Southampton

Team News

Arsenal
  • Arsenal's lengthy injury list took another hit last time out, with Kieran Gibbs, Nacho Monreal and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all picking up injuries in the win over West Brom.
  • Laurent Koscielny did, however, make his return to give the Gunners a huge boost.
  • Wojciech Szczesny could be back in goal after a rib injury.
Southampton
  • Morgan Schneiderlin picked up a thigh injury in the defeat to Manchester City on Sunday and he will miss the trip to Arsenal.
  • Jack Cork missed out through illness, but Ronald Koeman confirmed that he should be back for this game.
  • If he isn't, Toby Alderweireld could play in defensive midfield, as he did after Schneiderlin was withdrawn on Sunday.

Check out football predictions: Chelsea vs Tottenham

Team News

Chelsea
  • Diego Costa is suspended after picking up his 5th yellow card of the season against Sunderland.
  • Didier Drogba could come in up front, though the pace of Loic Remy could appeal to Jose Mourinho against the likes of Fazio in the Spurs defence.
  • Nathan Ake continues to miss out.
Tottenham
  • Mauricio Pochettino will be tempted to play the same XI that impressed against Everton on Sunday, with Harry Kane starting off Roberto Soldado up front.
  • Another option will be to play an extra man in central midfield, with Benjamin Stambouli, Mousa Dembele and Paulino options to come in.
  • Vlad Chiriches was forced off against Everton with an injury and so Kyle Naughton, back from suspension, could return to the starting lineup.

Football predictions for: Sunderland vs Manchester City

Team News

Sunderland
  • After earning such a hard-fought point against Chelsea last time out it wouldn't be surprising if a number of players were suffering from a little fatigue but Gus Poyet will be keen to reward those that performed so well at the weekend.
  • In turn the Uruguayan could field an unchanged side, though Jozy Altidore certainly made an impact from the bench on Saturday.
Manchester City
  • Martín Demichelis will return to the starting XI at the expense of Eliaquim Mangala, who is suspended after his sending off at the weekend.
  • David Silva is likely to continue to miss out but could be back in contention in time for the weekend.
  • Vincent Kompany was forced to limp off against Southampton, reducing City to 9 men on the day, and he is also likely to miss out for the trip to Sunderland, with Dedryck Boyata potentially in line to start.
  • However, Bacary Sagna could also come in and do a job for the side, as he has at centre-back with Arsenal in the past.

Ckeck out my prediction for Manchester United vs Stoke

Team News

Manchester United
  • Angel Di Maria came off during the 3-0 win over Hull City and could miss out here, with Falcao expected to start after his cameo appearance at the weekend.
  • Wayne Rooney is a doubt, but should feature behind the strikeforce of Falcao and Robin van Persie.
  • However, Louis van Gaal will be without Rafael, Daley Blind, Luke Shaw, Phil Jones, Jesse Lingard and James Wilson.
Stoke
  • Oussama Assaidi is available after missing the weekend defeat at Liverpool as he was ineligible to face his parent club.
  • Glenn Whelan returned to action in the loss on Merseyside, only to pick up an injury at Anfield and should sit this one out.
  • Steve Sidwell could miss out, with Charlie Adam tipped to come into the midfield.
  • Elsewhere, Peter Odemwingie, Robert Huth and Victor Moses are sidelined.
