fair to say that these two sides are not performing as most would have

could get a result on Merseyside to keep up their excellent start to the
season. This game is likely to be a tight affair and potentially a

performances have improved of late and they come into the encounter on a
good run, picking up 7 points of a possible 9. The Swans, however, have
failed to score in each of their last 3 trips to the Etihad Stadium, so
will find it tough to maintain this form on Saturday. Despite a recent
blip, City should have enough about them to secure maximum points in

Newcastle United vs Queens Park Rangers
Newcastle
have impressed of late and are unbeaten in their last 6 games in all
competitions, winning 5. They will be confident of extending that run
against a QPR side that has struggled away from home this season. The
R's are the only team in the Premier League yet to pick up a point on
the road this term. The west London side have conceded 14 goals in 5
away matches following their return to England's top tier and things
don't get any easier with a trip to in-form Newcastle. The hosts have
the upper hand here and should be able to record a home victory here.

Arsenal vs Manchester United
Once
a huge game in the title race, this game no longer has the draw it used
to, with 6th-placed Arsenal hosting 7th-placed Manchester United as
both teams look to get back into the Premier League's top 4. A Champions
League spot is probably the realistic extent of these teams' ambitions
for the season, given that so far they have just 8 wins from 22 games
between them. Both sides will surely raise their game for this match,
but clashes are have been fairly low scoring in recent seasons, with
only 3 goals scored in the last 3 meetings. Arsenal have won none of
their last 6 games against United, including none of the last 3 at the
Emirates, and although they are playing a seriously weaker United than
in previous years, this could be a tighter game than one might first
